Fairytales on the Telly

Finally I'm able to tell you all about the work I've been creating for Craft Artist at my day job illustrating for Serif! The Fairytales digital crafting kits were released last week on Create and Craft television channel and have sold really well. (You can still buy them here!)

The 'digikits' as we call them consist of around 5 character designs, about 25 supporting illustrated and photographed embellishments (things like flowers, ribbons, animals etc), illustrated background designs, illustrated materials (like fabrics or paper that you can digitally cut out!)  brushes & an alphabet. Everything in each digikit fits into a theme, the idea being you can use these kits to make digital scrapbooks, greetings cards and party crafts (cupcake wrappers, placecards, table numbers, gift boxes and more...), you print them at home and can then hand embellish them.   You need CraftArtist software to use the digikits

Above is a video of them showing off the digikits in Create & Craft, big thanks to Phill for showing them off so well! Phill is local to Nottingham and has a big craft shop in Sherwood check him out on facebook

Here are a few examples of layouts and character designs that I've created for the Fairytales digikits. All have been painted in watercolours with a little bit of pencil and pencil crayon for texture.
